Mats blow past Alaly in home opener

Miramonte overpowered the Analy Tigers 21-7 in the Mats’  home opener Friday night. John Coupin rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns and wide receiver Anthony Piganelli caught a 20 yard pass from QB Ross Anderson and ran it into the end zone.

The Miramonte football players and cheer squad were a big hit at the Orinda 4th of July parade! Afterwards, the players manned the Mats football toss and got the fans excited about the upcoming season.
